Ingredients
4 green onions (separate white and green parts)
4 cloves garlic (crushed)
1 onion (cut into large strips)
250g beef (any cut, sliced against the grain)
For the Marinade:
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp dark soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1/2 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cornstarch
1/2 tbsp oil
For Stir-Frying:
1 tbsp oil
1/2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp rice wine
1/2 tbsp dark soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
2 tbsp water
1/2 tsp crushed black pepper
Instructions
1. Prepare the Ingredients
Chop the green onions, separating the white and green parts.
Crush the garlic and slice the onion into large strips.
Slice the beef against the grain to keep it tender.
2. Marinate the Beef
In a bowl, mix the beef with soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, baking soda, and cornstarch. Finish with oil and let it marinate for 15 minutes.
3. Stir-Fry the Onions
Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
Stir-fry the white parts of the green onions and onion strips with sugar and salt until slightly soft.
Remove from the pan and set aside.
4. Cook the Beef
